Engineering Office
(1) PROCESSING OF BUILDING PERMITS AND ANCILLARY PERMITS
(a) Essence. No person, firm or corporation, including any agency or instrumentality of the government shall erect, construct, alter, repair, move, convert or demolish any building or structure or cause the same to be done without first obtaining a building permit therefore from the municipal building official. Per requirement of National Building Code of the Philippines (P.D. 1096)
- Processing Time. If the requirements are complete, this transaction shall be completed within one (1) day and fifty two (52) minutes.
- Clientele. Citizens, firms or corporations including any agency or instrumentality of the government.
- Requirements:
(1) 6 sets copies of plans
(2) Barangay Clearance;
(3) Certified true copy of OCT/TCT;
(4) Tax declaration
(5) Current real property tax receipt;
(6) Zoning certificate;
(7) Mayor’s Clearance;
(8) Notarized copy of the Contract of Lease or Deed of Absolute Sale (in case the applicant is not the registered owner of the lot);
(9) Locational Clearances;
(10) Bureau of Fire Protection Clearance.
- Availability of Service. During office days: Monday to Friday from 8:00 A.M. to to 5:00 P.M. NO NOON BREAK.
- Fees and Charges. The rates of fees and charges on building permits shall be based on the existing municipal tax ordinances.

(2) PREPARATION OF PROGRAM OF WORK BEING REQUESTED
(a) Essence. From time to time, the barangays and the public schools implement duly funded projects. But, before a project is given funding allocation and implemented, it shall have first a program of works. The Office of the Municipal Engineer is usually requested to prepare a program of work. A requisition for the preparation of the program of works is therefore necessary.
- Processing Time. If the requirements are complete, this transaction shall be completed within one (1) day and thirty five (35) minutes.
- Clientele. Barangay Chairmen and school principals or teachers-in-charge pursuing certain projects.
- Requirement:
- Letter-request approved by the Local Chief Executive
- Availability of Service. During office days: Monday to Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. NO NOON BREAK.
- Fees and Charges. The client shall pay the fees and charges prescribed under existing municipal tax ordinances - NONE

(3) ISSUANCE OF ELECTRICAL PERMIT FOR INDIGENOUS DWELLINGS
(a) Essence. From time to time, applications for electrical installation are filed with ILECO III by residents of this municipality. But, before installation of electrical lines are granted, and electrical permit is requested from the municipality through the Office of the Municipal Engineer is usually requested to prepare a program of work.
- Processing Time. If the requirements are complete, this transaction shall be completed within one (1) day.
- Clientele. – Residents of the municipality/walk-in applicants.
- Requirement:
- Five (5) Copies of Blue Print Electrical Plan
- Application form Electric Permit
- Certificate of completion
- Barangay clearance electric permit
- Certificate of attendance of Ileco III
- Availability of Service. During office days: Monday to Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. NO NOON BREAK.
- Fees and Charges. The client shall pay the fees and charges prescribed under existing municipal tax ordinances. - NONE
